Speedy chocolate cardamom sauce (the secret to eternal happiness)

This is bliss! And really easy to make. The recipe is from Silvana Franco, of BBC's "The Best".

150 mL double/whipping cream
150 g good quality milk chocolate
4 cardamom pods

Break up the cardamom pods in a mortar and pestle, and remove the husks. Then crush the seeds to a fine powder. Break up the chocolate into small pieces and leave at room temp. Put the cream in a microwave proof jug, add the crushed cardamom, and heat on high for 1 min (no longer than that or the sauce will be too thick). Add the chocolate to the cream, and stir until the chocolate melts completely. It will take about 2 mins to melt, don't reheat the cream to get the chocolate to melt faster!

That's all there is to it. Serve immediately; pour over ice-cream for a delicious treat.

Tip: Refrigerate the leftovers, and use it as an awesome chocolate spread.

Another tip: if you replace the cream with 450 mL milk, it makes awesome drinking chocolate!
